wittysister1901If I could travel back in time to a certain year, I would choose the year 1300. That’s when the Renaissance started. There are so many reasons why I would do so, but here are just three to get started. One is that there was such an interesting history behind it. Two is that so many famous people were born during it. My last reason is that there were many famous inventions made back then as well. What are you waiting for? Read on to travel back to the amazing Renaissance!
The year 1300 is when the world famous Renaissance started. So here is my first reason why I would time travel way back then. It has such an interesting history. Let me tell you a bit about it and it’s fun and exciting past. Before the Renaissance,(The Middle Ages) Italy was definitely not a place you would want to live in. It was so dark and gloomy. In addition, no one liked art. Then the Renaissance started. All of a sudden many artists, inventors,sculptors,etc. started popping up. And just as sudden, people had so much interest in art! Although the Middle Ages used to have absolutely no interest in art, the Renaissance changed everything.
My second reason is that so many famous people were born or did the thing they are well known for during the Renaissance. For example, Leonardo Da Vinci is the one who painted the Mona Lisa. Or you can take Galileo, Nicholaus Copernicus, William Shakespeare, and even Michelangelo! If you spent a day with Michelangelo, you would probably have to experience his really bad temper.If you sent a day with William Shakespeare, then you might see one of his plays called “ Hamlet”! It really would be super fun! And there you have it! That was my second reason I would time travel back to the Renaissance if time travel was possible.
My third and very last reason is that there were many famous inventions made during the Renaissance. To be honest, I’ve always wanted to invent something myself. What I am trying to say is that there were so many inventions during the Renaissance that if they weren’t there, then we could never live our lives the way we do. Take the violin as an example. many people like to play the violin. And I bet all of you might like the violin yourself or know someone that does. The point is, that violins are such a important thing to the music world. And the scuba diving gear. I think scuba diving is extremely fascinating. So now do you see what I mean by there were many cool things invented during the Renaissance? So readers, these were all of the wonderful inventions made during the Renaissance.
After reading all of my reasons hopefully, you think of the Renaissance of more than just a boring ,old era. I hope you think more of it like an awesome era! It has so many cool things about it, like the amazing history of it and the famous people and even the wonderful inventions. Renaissance means rebirth. I definitely think that Renaissance was a total rebirth, not just to Italy but to the whole world!
