wittysister1901Hi guys! So recently, I watched this movie called “Wish Dragon”. This blog is going to be about what I thought about the movie, and my overall thoughts on it…Enjoy!
My rating: 5/5- There wasn’t a single time where I got bored, or felt like the movie was going too slow. Everything was absolutely perfect!
Here’s the movie plot (No Spoilers!):
Growing up, a boy named Din is friends with a girl named Li Na. Li Na moves away, her career as a model takes off, but Din is stuck in the same area, delivering for his mom’s dumpling business. Din still hasn’t forgotten about Li Na, and on her birthday one year, he wants to do something special. Din finds a magic teapot which contains a wish-granting dragon(who has an AmAZiNg attitude). Using the dragon Din tries to meet Li Na and regain her friendship. Unfortunately, Din’s troubles don’t end there, because certain people are behind the teapot, and will do anything, just to get that teapot.
One thing I would improve…
The trailer. When I first saw the trailer, it didn’t captivate MY interest as much as other trailers usually do. Seeing the trailer, it made me think that it would be a lot like Aladdin, but in a different place. Because I had already seen SO many spins on Aladdin, I felt like it wasn’t interesting enough for me to watch. The one reason I actually ended up watching the movie was because it was on Netflix, and since most upcoming movies were all on Disney+, which I don’t have, I figured I would watch it. If I would rate the trailer I would give it a 3 /5, but obviously, I’m very glad that I did end up watching the movie, because the movie itself was incredible!!
