Netflix Shows I recommend!

Netflix. So many options. Perhaps too many. Let’s keep scrolling through all the shows and movies, even though we probably will end up watching the same thing over and over again. Fear not, This list of shows on Netflix, perfect for preteens and early teens, is sure to get you on a looooooooong Netflix binge!

1. Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

Ok, I’m not a HUGE Jurassic World fan, dinosaurs aren’t exactly my thing, but THIS show left me no choice but to love them. Kind of. The show is about 6 kids who win a contest and get a chance to go to a really cool camp where you can actually be in touch with dinosaurs. Well, cool soon turns into crazy, when their camp falls apart, they are cut off from any communication, their camp guides are gone, a killer dinosaur has now escaped, and they are officially trapped. With no way out. This show is SUPER exciting and crazy, so whenever you think that you need a little bit of a thrill, this show is for you!

2. Sam and Cat

Sam and Cat is a family-friendly comedy show, which is just an absolute blast to watch! Of course, Sam and Cat also has Ariana Grande in it, and if you are interested in seeing what a great actress she is as well, you need to check this show out. Whoever made this show is genius, because they combined two things that people LOVED. Victorious, and ICarly. Both shows are worth watching as well, and this is just a combination of both. Sam and Cat follows the story of Sam Puckett, after ICarly is over, and Cat Valentine, who isn’t going to Hollywood Arts anymore. Both of these girls end up coming together as roommates and babysitting partners and have to deal with CRAZY situations like an old enemy kidnapping their friend, little British con-artists, trying to get a little girl to give up her beloved stuffed animal, and more. 

3. What’s New, Scooby Doo?

Scooby Doo is a classic everyone knows. But I found myself to just scroll right over this show whenever I was on Netflix. Scooby Doo, as we all probably know, is about 4 kids and their dog (Scooby Doo), as they solve a bunch of mysteries. These mysteries take place in different parts of the world, and the one who is guilty is always the person you LEAST expect. (Hint Hint) Since I thought it was a little kid’s show, I thought I would be able to solve the mysteries in seconds. But let me tell ya, there were only 3 mysteries I was able to solve, that too, with a TON of analyzing. Challenge yourself and your mind, by watching Scooby Doo. (Scooby Dooby doooooooo)

4. The Thundermans

Okay, this show came out RECENTLY on Netflix, and I have to say, I’m obsessed. Nickelodeon is usually pretty good, but I think they outdid themselves with this one. This show is about a family with superpowers,  but they have moved to a normal town to hide them. This show is really fun, and is family friendly too. Unfortunately, Netflix only has 2 seasons, and I don’t think that they’re planning to add more.
